Ice Fishing

Manitoba is a top destination for trophy freshwater fishing. The Red River and Lake Winnipeg are hot right now for Walleye. Also known as Greenbacks due to their unique color phase in Lake Winnipeg.  8 pound Walleyes are not uncommon. Trophy Pike are also a popular target through the ice.

While these fish can be caught just a two minute walk from your hotel, odds are better if you can take a bit of a drive and connect with an outfitter.
