Festival Du Voyager is the largest winter festival in Western Canada. Music of old, traditional cuisine, sensational snow sculptures and captivating shows are but a few examples of the entertainment you can expect to witness during this historical gathering. TICKETS ARE LIMITED.

The Forks
The Forks is located at the junction of the Red river and Assiniboine river. It has 6000 years of trading history beginning with Indigenous peoples. Now it home to more than 4 million visitors every year. It is home to fantastic local dining, unique local shops and retailers, and constatly changing entertainment and events.
It has beautiful history and architecture that can be enjoyed. Also one of the longest skating trails, and some scenic riverwalks and paths.

Ice Fishing
Manitoba is a top destination for trophy freshwater fishing. The Red River and Lake Winnipeg are hot right now for Walleye. Also known as Greenbacks due to their unique color phase in Lake Winnipeg. 8 pound Walleyes are not uncommon. Trophy Pike are also a popular target through the ice.
While these fish can be caught just a two minute walk from your hotel, odds are better if you can take a bit of a drive and connect with an outfitter.
